Print-On-Demand Platform

A website dedicated to one of the most prominent film and theatre directors, Andrzej Wajda, an Oscar winner for lifetime achievement, who left behind an impressive artistic legacy. The website www.wajda.pl is a place gathering information about films, theatrical performances, and initiatives that he created.
We have already created the website for the Kyoto-Kraków Andrzej Wajda and Krystyna Zachwatowicz Foundation, and we invite you to check out the case study of the project.

As part of the project, we have created a CMS that allows for the presentation of visual materials and full content editing.
Photographs and scans of notes are very important elements of the website content. In order to minimize its load time and improve its performance, we have optimized all the materials provided to us by the Foundation. As a result, within one subpage, we can view both the director’s conceptual sketches and film stills.

One of the most important features of the website is a database of theatre and film performances, including those that have not been realized, which provides information that is difficult to find online. The intuitive navigation makes it easy to find the film or performance that interests us.
Each of Andrzej Wajda’s productions has a dedicated subpage with a description, key information about the film, cast, and a multimedia gallery.

As a result of our work, we have created a clear and functional website that allows for easy access to information about Andrzej Wajda’s films, theatrical productions, and related initiatives. Additionally, the calendar depicting significant events from the director’s life has been enriched with archival photographs, scans, and handwritten notes, providing a comprehensive presentation of his artistic legacy.
