and project challenges

The project aimed to transform the EIT Campus website into a central source of information about the rich educational offerings of the EIT network. The scope of work included user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, content management system (CMS) development, front-end development, testing, server management, and maintenance.

One of the unique aspects of the project was the automation of course information import, ensuring continuous data updates.

Community Building

Creating a sense of community among users was emphasized, with features like discussion forums, peer-to-peer collaboration tools, and instructor feedback mechanisms aimed at fostering a supportive and interactive learning ecosystem.

Prior to initiating the project, Smultron conducted a thorough analysis of competitive e-learning platforms and the websites of companies affiliated with the EIT network. This analysis provided valuable insights into industry best practices and user requirements, forming a critical foundation for the project’s success.

Communication with the client was primarily conducted through email and the Basecamp platform during the project’s duration. Furthermore, bi-weekly project review meetings were held via teleconferencing, facilitating ongoing discussions and allowing us to closely track project advancements.

At EIT Campus, we ensure that finding the perfect courses is easy and efficient. Our advanced filtering feature allows users to customize their educational experience. You can precisely select courses based on topics, difficulty levels, course duration, preferred language, certificate availability, and learning mode. Future of the platform

As the platform evolves, EIT Campus will expand to offer over 250 courses in various fields covered by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s activities. This initiative aims to integrate educational activities from various communities within EIT into one platform. It is through this integration that EIT Campus will reach a broad audience of learners and professionals, helping them acquire the necessary skills for development in their chosen fields and creating a positive impact.
